From Three to Four

The last few months have been full of excitement and adventures! We welcomed Matteo Phylip Eigler Thompson into our family on March 3rd. He weighed in at 9 lbs and 4 oz, and gifted his mami with a pretty fast labor (4 hours)! We had a rocky start with breastfeeding and some gassiness, but have found our groove and the transition from a family of 3 to 4 has gone pretty smoothly.

Eléa is a wonderful big sister, and dotes on her baby brother all the time. She showers him with kisses and all kinds of nice words like, "you're so cute, I can't take my eyes off of you." Luke (aka: Papi) has been an incredible "night nurse", in addition to being a fantastic papi, so sleep is being had (in chunks) by all.

Eléa is having many adventures and is talking non stop. Her stories are so funny, and she's excited to start kindergarten in the fall. I'll let the pictures tell the story of our lives these last few months. More to come...
